Oscar Predix – Parte 3

Mais uma rodada de previsões dos indicados para o Oscar 2008. Muitas mudanças desde o último post. Com a divulgação das listas do Globo de Ouro e do Screen Actors Guild, a disputa mudou um pouco de cara, principalmente para as categorias de interpretação.
O SAG deu grande empurrão, por exemplo, para Into the Wild, depois da misteriorsa esnobada do Globo de Ouro. Mas ignorou por completo Atonement, Sweeney Tood e The Savages (adeus Laura Linney?!). Não dá pra saber até onde isso vai no Oscar, mas... dá pra se ter uma idéia de quem os próprios atores andam gostando mais de ver no cinema.
Um que ressurgiu das cinzas foi Eastern Promises – não sei se pras categorias principais, mas pelo menos para Viggo Mortensen (o que seria muuuuiuto legal não?).
Outra: lutei até quanto pude contra Juno (não que seja um filme ruim – ao contrário, deve ser pra lá de simpático) mas nunca achei que tivesse cacife pra tanto. Mas tô me convencendo que sou voto vencido. Pode ser mesmo o Little Miss Sunshine deste ano.
De resto segue No Country for Old Men na pole-position, seguido por Atonement, Michael Clayton e Into the Wild. A quinta posição de melhor filme é que tá disputadíssima, variando de Juno a Sweeney Todd passando por American Gangster e The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Ao que tudo indica, Paul Thomas Anderson vai ser mais uma vez esnobado pela Academia (com exceção de Daniel Day-Lewis). Tomara que eu (e todo mundo) me engane feio, e There Will Be Blood ainda possa surpreender.
